Don't bombs "buzz" before going off?

And bombs are usually hard...especially the round cannonball ones...

...which coincidentally look like cherries.

And often, but not always, the letters BOMB, BOOM or sometimes "BOM" appear in the air, as to take away any misunderstanding as to what has just happened.

And, the little animal like characters just fall through the ground as opposed to the gory effect one would expect.

actually, as your friendly neighborhood alcoholic and future barowner, I can safely say that a great many cocktails are entitled "Bombs" for instance the Vodka Bomb and Jager Bomb. However to be called a bomb, it generally means to be combined with some sort of high caffeinated drink--usually an energy drink along the lines of redbull.
