I guess I should be thankful for the little miracles. ;)
Anyone who knows me knows I'm notorious for buying books faster than I can read them. As a result, I own a ton of books that I'm working on getting read.
Well, I'm looking to move back to Jerusalem this summer as a fulltime volunteer. I'll be sharing an apartment, and will probably have a bedroom that's too small to house my books. I thought about starting a shipping deal with my Mom; I give her a list of the books I want shipped, then send them back when I'm done with a new list. It solves my problem, but I have no doubt we'd be re-buying each book in shipping fees.
Then, the other day it hit me. I can donate them to the Caspari Center (http://caspari.com/library.html). Even with my limited knowledge of Jerusalem, I can look at that little map (http://caspari.com/map.html)and tell exactly where that place is (If I'm not mistaken, heading straight up Heleni HaMalka will take you to the JAMM (http://www.jerusalemsp.org/jamm.html)). So, they get a bunch of books, and I still have access to them. I think it's all going to work out. ;)
