What does a girl have to do to get a latte in this place? :yum:

A new thread means a new room!
And having a bit of official insight to the future of STR, I have used that knowledge to create a new room in our pub:
Ladies and gentle, allow me to cut the tap with the big scissors and open up...the Gaming Room. Here, in this large 26'x30' room, there are all sorts of games, ranging from tabletop RPGs, board games, video games, and, of course, 10 computers all LAN-linked for all your online gaming pleasure.
The future is here...and soon. There were no errors in text in this message (hint hint).

**Builds a billiards room**
**Installs 4 dart boards in the main bar**
**Installs 3 dart boards in the billiards room**
**Installs 2 snookers tables in the billiards room**
**Installs a "gaming hall" with craps, black jack, poker, roullette, slots, and a perfect fascimile of the The Price is Right Big Wheel**
Good idea, chef. And since the idea was so excellent:
**Installs a 26'x32' grand kitchen with 20 chefs, 4 supervisors, and an assistant**
Enjoy!

Okay, a new clue about the future...
Think two letters; don't be deceived.
One or the other above,
And one is not the 4th.
There is only one mistake above,
You can surely see:
For there is no repeat of it,
It that is essential to language.
Oh, and riddles...that's a third clue...lots of riddles going on in the future ;)

Hint: look at the first line; it is what the second line is referring to (obviously though, you knew that).
Notice that it is divided into two sets of three words.
Look at the first letters of the words, and reread that line.

The other problem facing Erwin at the moment is that by moving to a new server host (which will hopefully make the site faster and more reliable), we will double our running costs (see Erwins thread in Announcements)/
At the moment it costs 10p (16c) a day to be a Cf site supporter.
How much is Cf worth to you?

Yoo-HooŽ is a chocolate flavored beverage popular in the American south.
It contains no dairy, nor is it carbonated, so It's a bit like chocolate flavored kool-aid, except it's opaque and has nearly the consistency of milk.
It also comes in strawberry.
It's not nearly as bad as it sounds.

Hi everyone!
I get a new outfit every day.
...speaking of shopping, I just got 6 shirts, 2 capris and a pr. of shorts all for $93! I'm psyched, considering it's all done in one night, in one store and probably the last until September. My "shopping" days were over about 15 years and 25lbs ago :P .
I just recieved a mailing from the Episcopal Church and the Visual Arts news letter. There was a piece about an aerial sculpture installation done by the church community of St. Paul's, Greenville, NC. It's called Taking Flight and it uses paper and material doves bearing prayer requests circling to the ceiling. A beautiful idea. ecva@app.campaignmonitor.com

This is for you Andy...
Q: I've heard that cardiovascular exercise can prolong life; is this true?
A: Your heart is only good for so many beats, and that's it... don't
waste them on exercise. Everything wears out eventually. Speeding up
your heart will not make you live longer; that's like saying you can
extend the life ofyour car by driving it faster. Want to live longer?
Take a nap.
Q: Should I cut down on meat and eat more fruits and vegetables?
A: You must grasp logistical efficiencies. What does a cow eat? Hay
and corn. And whatare these? Vegetables. So a steak is nothing more
than an efficientmechanism of delivering vegetables to your system.
Need grain? Eat chicken.Beef is also a good source of field grass
(green leafy vegetable). And a pork chop can give you 100% of your
recommended daily allowance of vegetable products.
Q: Should I reduce my alcohol intake?
A: No, not at all. Wine is made from fruit. Brandy is distilled wine,
thatmeans they take the water out of the fruity bit so you get even
more of the goodness that way. Beer is also made out of grain. So,
bottoms up!
Q: How can I calculate my body/fat ratio?
A: Well, if you have a body and you have fat, your ratio is one to
one. If you have two bodies, your ratio is two to one, etc.
Q: What are some of the advantages of participating in a regular
exerciseprogram?
A: Can't think of a single one, sorry. My philosophy is: No Pain...Good!
Q: Aren't fried foods bad for you?
A: YOU'RE NOT LISTENING!!!. Foods are fried these days in vegetable
oil. Infact, they're permeated in it. How could getting more
vegetables be bad for you?
Q: Will sit-ups help prevent me from getting a little soft around the middle?
A: Definitely not! When you exercise a muscle, it gets bigger. You
should only be doing sit-ups if you want a bigger stomach.
Q: Is chocolate bad for me?
A: Are you crazy? HELLO. Cocoa beans! Another vegetable!!! It's the
best feel-good food around!
Q: Is swimming good for your figure?
A: If swimming is good for your figure, explain whales to me.
Q: Is getting in-shape important for my lifestyle?
A: Hey! 'Round' is a shape!

So, he sang like an angel, my 8 year old son. I wasn't the only one crying. All the verses to "Were you there" with piano accompaniment. Poised as could be. I will never forget it as long as I live :)

Oh that is so sweet! One of those really great moments in life! :)
(edited later to add that we sang that one this morning at church and I thought of you and your son)

Good morning folks.
Hope everyone is having a good Easter.
I know that we are pretty much sad at the moment as we dwell upon the awful reality of just what we did to the Son of God.
But hang in there, tomorrow is coming....

24 hours left until the Future is announced!
So get those brain juices flowing! Not much time left before the 1,000 blessings prize slips away!

LOL. Too true :)
However, I was referring to the answer of the riddle :)

I'm no good at sorting out riddles.
I am content to forgo the reward (I'd have only put it in the 1611 Bank anyway) and wait for your announcement tomorrow.

Me neither. Tomorrow when we see what the new development in STR actually is, we will either think, "Oh, I should have got that", or "Oh, is that it?" PaladinValer has built up our expectations so high, we're bound to be disappointed!

Ah, but you are better than you think you all are, with a great deal of potential...
...the Future will prove that and may even help you reach it...in a fun and imaginative way :)

Anyway, only 20 minutes until the new Dr. Who starts!

Well, if it helps any, I haven't been able to watch it yet tonight because Harry Potter was on at the same time, and my kids wanted to watch that, so we have taped Dr. Who, and will watch it later on. Probably doesn't help any. :sorry:

The new series of Dr Who is pretty darned good. Gonna take a few episodes to fully get used to Tennant as opposed to Ecclestone, but it was good all the same.

I saw the first few minutes but had to stop watching as our easter vigil was scheduled at the same time - how rude!
