My sister was admitted to hospital earlier this evening (it wouldn't be right to post details just at the moment), and i'd really appreciate it if you could pray for her at this time.

Thank you so much for all your prayers guys.
My sister is around six weeks pregnant with her third child and she was admitted to hospital with severe stomach pains - the fear was that it was an eptopic pregnancy. However it now seems likely that it was a burst ovarian cyst and so hopefully there isn't a problem with the baby.
Thanks once again for all your prayers.

And but a few months later a healthy baby boy has been born!!!
It hasn't been the easiest pregnancy for my sister and there have been a fair few complications; they made the decision to induce as there were a few worries about the health of the baby. At this early stage everything seems fine but the next year or so might change that. However as Lady Julian of Norwich famously said, all shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
That's nephew number 3 for me. Fingers crossed that one or two of my own come along in the not too distant future (though there's a few things i need to get sorted first! ;) )

I was getting mad at myself because I had missed your request for prayer...then I realised how old this thread was and that I hadn't come back to cf when you originally posted.
