*frown* That's not made in the shape of an ankh, is it? Or am I just seeing things? ;)

I choose that rather than the more traditional shape for a few reasons. First, most of the ancient ones had Het-heret on them (in an obvious way). Also, this shape looks more like a cross than any other one I could find, much like the simple ones still used in Ethiopian orthodox churches. I wanted something to go with the rest of the ancient Egyptian character items, but one that would be least likely to cause a problem. :)
(However, if the shape causes too much of a stir, there is also this one I just found... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v681/meketheru/rattleweb.jpg Which is another simple design, but it is Ethiopian in making.)
I seem to have lost or misplaced the pictures I had of the really fancy Ethiopian sistrum.. While the detail would have been impossible to recreate at such a small scale, it was really something amazing!

Right from King Tut's tomb. (I mean hey, we already have Nefertiti's hat, might as well get the whole Amarna gang in here! :P )
The armory may choose whichever model they find most appropriate. :)

LOL I wasn't angry about the ankh ;) I've always thought it an interesting symbol, if you ignore the religious background :) And it's one of the few Egyptian symbols I actually remember ^_^

Me too. ;)
I think the third pair are neat. However, I have always had a thing for Tut, maybe because they always have specials about him on TV? :P It use to always be like some giant murder mystery, but I hear people don't think that anymore.

Ohhh, hehe. I was hoping you weren't, but couldn't tell. :)
I don't mean to cause a stir with this request, to be honest I was thinking "Huh, there's one that looks like a cross, that would work well." and didn't notice it was obviously meant to be an ankh until you said something. I can be a little slow sometimes!

^_^ Well, it being an ankh... it means "eternal life" right? Kinda cool, if you think about it.

Yes, or just 'life' in general. :)
