New thread for discussing possible forum slogans. You can vote for mutiple slogans in this poll. Keep thinking of possible new slogans, too. Remember, it needs to be short and it shouldn't intentionally offend others. :)

I picked "No Creed But Christ." It's short and to-the-point, and it has a certain poetic quality to it.

"Communion every Sunday" was meant to be a joke! I hope no one seriously votes for it  !

Don't know if I was supposed to but I voted "No Creed but Christ".

The other 4 will just crank up everyone from Baptists to Catholics.

No Creed but Christ; very concise. I think it embodies what we are trying to get across.

Yeah. "No Creed but Christ" just tweeks the Rule 6 people! :)

Wait! I've got the perfect quote!

Remember, it needs to be short and it shouldn't intentionally offend others. :)

Can you define "short" and "intentional"
?

(just kidding!)

:)

What?!? What!?!

What is this slogan for?
They all seem "wrong" if applied to any church.

No Creed but Christ?
You have to accept the Nicene Creed to be on the Christian part of these forums.

Ramesses, please go read the rules. "No creed but Christ" is not at all against Rule 6 or any other CF rule.

No Creed but Christ?
You have to accept the Nicene Creed to be on the Christian part of these forums.

But you don't have to sign it or recite it to be a member of a Restoration Movement church.

By the way, you don't see me in your denomination's forum stomping on your beliefs. How about a little courtesy?

Speaking as a moderator and understanding what the RM means by "no creed but Christ" it is a perfectly fine slogan. It does not contradict the creed, nor does anything in RM belief contradict the creed.

I'm not a member of a RM church, so I didn't vote in the poll, but I think "No Creed bu Christ" is a good slogan.

One thing, though. Most baptists don't believe in creeds, either.

Pardon another outsider (who didn't vote on the poll),
i think "No Creed But Christ" is pretty catchy but not unique to your positions within Christianity.

So I guess "No Creed but Christ" is the RM's new slogan? :D

How about something like "Essential Faith" or "First Century Christians"? Or "Back to Basics" :P

"No creed but Christ" - It says it all.

What a graet idea this Forum is, and not before time.
