I was chrismated ten years ago on Lazarus Saturday. It was wonderful because I could receive the sacrament of Holy Unction during Holy Week, and Holy Communion also.

I understand that. The wait to receive communion when you are a Catechumen can be very difficult. My wait was made alot shorter in that much of my unofficial catechumenate was spent in the Byzantine Catholic Church, and thus I could still receive the Eucharist. But still, I went for 6 months without. God bless you, Rob!

Wow! I didn't even know there was such a holiday in the Orthodox Church. Is there a related holiday in the Catholic Church?
