Fervent Prayer please!

My spiritual father has designated me our parish's barside minister....I frequent a local pub and talk about God to the patrons there and try to help them along when I can. There is a woman name Heidi to whom I have been talking for several weeks now who has just about every problem you can think of. She is sexually promiscuous, uses cocaine, and dates a drug dealer. Tonight, however, she confessed to me that she hates her life and despises what she has become and accepted my invitation to come to vespers this saturday at my church. Please pray for her. The poor woman has so much pain. She was sitting at the bar literally crying on my shoulder most of the night. Pray that her heart will be open and that she may realize that God is the only true solution to her many problems. Have pity on her.

people who have experienced great pain in their lives have a great advantage.

when they have the opportunity to acknowledge the bad things in their life and their pain, and bring everything to the surface, they can gradually become far more better people than some of us who have lived a somehow "decent" and more comfortable life.

may God help this soul and draw her close to his Light and Grace.

may God help you to bear the burden of the pain that other people express to you and act as a medium for these people to know God.
