Okay, this hopefully will be a fun thread that deals with animals and the number three.
It just seems strange how animals repeat things three times - and there are three Persons in the Blessed Trinity.
(1) Mocking birds repeat a song three times and then move onto another song which they also repeat three times.
(2) Our cat scratches at the door three times when it wants to be let out.

It is amazing how often the numbers 3, 7 and 12 come up in every day life.
Morning, Afternoon, Night
Sun, Moon, Stars (I know some of them are planets but they look like stars)
Birth, Life, Death (refers to plant life also)
Also in music there are seven notes in an octave (without repeating the same note)

We have arbitrarily assigned seven notes to an octave. There is a scale that has 6 notes, a scale that has 5, even the ancient Byzantine scale, which has 72 notes within an octave...Unfortunately, this is not one of the places that one can draw a numerological meaning.
God did set up that whole 7 days in a week thing...:)

I was going to post "western scale" but I thought that might cause confusion. Yes there is the pentatonic scale and others.
Sometimes I am composing and I want a note and guess what? It doesn't exist!
So I write down the two notes it is inbetween.
And there are 12 semitones in a western scale

My cats do lots of things in threes. They often circle three times before laying down for example.
My mother has this phrase that bad things happen in threes. If somene she knows dies she will say: "two more". I don't point out her faulty logic since she only counts to three then says "Ok that is the three". The next one she will then say "Ok two more"...
