Present Christianity has major problems, from the huge dropout rate in conversions that ranges up to 80-90%, to poverty, negect, oligarchies and the long drawn out altar calls. Example look at this article for the possibility of fraud.

Well said. Christ's Church is not comprised of denominations, regardless of what some of them say. Christ's church is the collection of believers without respect to which building they go for worship services.

Many who attend church on Sunday, Wed night, etc etc and profess to be "christian" are not.

The more I study the more convinced I am that mankind's biggest problem with "Christianity" is that it is too simple. Simply believe what God said, accept His free gift of salvation and be saved.

That sounds too easy, and far too many people must make it more complex and difficult. Unfortunately, they often mislead people astray.

That's kind of a US-centric view, isn't it?

NEVER be lumped to denom or church affiliates but how you live your life.There are two different things here; a personal relationship and the conglomerate. The personal is generally associated with a group which is associated with another group and so on. Christianity has become an industry which turns out junk in the form of products eg some books and music etc. There needs to be better quality otherwise there are huge amount of accidents ie scandals looking for places to happen.

The problem continues because so many churches and denominations are involved in the industries and the circuits that these extremely doubtful prophets travel around. Probably some people make "decisions" in altar calls because they want to go home and feel the preacher will persist until he gets a decision. Disagree with you on the once saved always saved bit though.
Two good movies to watch;
Elmer Gantry starring Burt Lancaster

Leap of Faith starring Steve Martin
