Almost every time I post, the first part of my post in a medium font size, and the last few lines are in a small size.
Why?
What is the solution?
I have been editing every post, selecting all the text, and resizing it as a work around.

Can you post an example, for us?

Often when I click on 'go to new post' in a thread, it will take me to the most recent page, but that is not always the newest post that I have not yet read. Often I need to go back a page (or even two) to get to the newest post that I haven't yet read. (does that make sense?).

Post 37:
notice the "of his most blessed body and blood." in tiny letters.
Liturgically, I think we do.
The people that bring up the bread and wine are our representatives. then the Priest says, "
And we most humbly beseech thee, O merciful Father, to
hear us; and, of thy almighty goodness, vouchsafe to bless
and sanctify, with thy Word and Holy Spirit, these thy gifts
and creatures of bread and wine; that we, receiving them
according to thy Son our Savior Jesus Christ’s holy institution,
in remembrance of his death and passion, may be partakers
of his most blessed Body and Blood."

Now, that is right wierd. And that's the default formatting? you didn't go in and set tags?
In the old CF model, if a person used blessings to buy font effects for their posts, it was handled by the display software. (That's why when you quote someone, their font effects don't show up -- because it's your display settings that are in effect). If you manually set your font effects (like this Dark Orchid colour that I set manually in every post) that's like an over-ride, so people who quote me, do have me showing up in purple.
When I go in and look at the tags in this post of yours, it has manual formatting tags in it, like this:
[ SIZE=3]Liturgically, I think we do.[ /SIZE]
[ SIZE=3]The people that bring up the bread and wine are our representatives. then the Priest says, "[ /SIZE]
[ FONT=Garamond][ SIZE=3]And we most humbly beseech thee, O merciful Father, to[ /SIZE][ /FONT]
[ FONT=Garamond][ SIZE=3]hear us; and, of thy almighty goodness, vouchsafe to bless[ /SIZE][ /FONT]
[ FONT=Garamond][ SIZE=3]and sanctify, with thy Word and Holy Spirit, these thy gifts[ /SIZE][ /FONT]
[ FONT=Garamond][ SIZE=3]and creatures of bread and wine; that we, receiving them[ /SIZE][ /FONT]
[ FONT=Garamond][ SIZE=3]according to thy Son our Savior Jesus Christ’s holy institution,[ /SIZE][ /FONT]
[ FONT=Garamond][ SIZE=3]in remembrance of his death and passion, may be partakers[ /SIZE][ /FONT]
[ FONT=Garamond]of his most blessed Body and Blood."[ /FONT]
That last line is small, because it doesn't have SIZE=3 tags wrapped around it. I've noticed that the default font size in this new upgrade seems to be smaller than in the old version. But I can't fathom why it's even inserting formatting tags into your text instead of using your display settings.

It did this to my posts before the change also.
I always manually set the font and size on my posts, and it always ignores the setting for the last line until I edit it.

Hmmm.
You do know that you don't have to format line by line, right?
This will work just as well:
[ FONT=Garamond][ SIZE=3]Liturgically, I think we do.

I don't.
I type and when I am finished, select all, and set the font and size.
