This is a letter I wrote yesterday and sent to many special people in my life...
Today is my spiritual birthday. 2 years ago today I crossed over from death to life- from darkness to light. I am so honored that the creator of the universe has chosen me (ME!!! WOW!!!) to spread the Good News. This is a huge responsibility and one I take very seriously. Over the past 2 years, I have met some people who have influenced my life in BIG ways. To all of my brothers and sisters in Christ who have supported me in my quest for righteousness, I give you thanks. You are family to me and I love you all. Shortly after I became a Christian, I realized that I needed some major support here on earth from my fellow believers. I prayed diligently for God to surround me with positive, honest, passionate Christians to help me stay on track. He has certainly answered that prayer and I feel overwhelmed by not only His love but the love which comes from all of you. I am growing in my faith each and everyday. Your encouraging words, kind gestures, and phone calls to check in on me have certainly kept that growth alive. I will never be able to repay your kindness but I pray to God that He will pour out His blessings into your lives; that He will overwhelm you with his presence and love- as you all have overwhelmed me. 2 years seems like such a short period of time but when I look back and think of all of the people I have met, things that have happened, and ways that I have changed- it seems like DECADES ago when this wonderful journey began. God is teaching me so many new things and I am so excited to see what He has in store for me in the NEXT 2 years! I plan to step more and more out of my comfort zone so that God can use me in HUGE ways for His glory. I want Him to utilize ALL of my gifts and talents so that on the glorious day when I stand before Him I will be able to fall at His feet and say, "I love you Lord. I have given you ALL I have. There is nothing left; nothing that I have held back from you." Thank you again my dear brothers and sisters in Christ. I am overjoyed that we will spend FOREVER TOGETHER with our King. I love you all and from all of you I have received. God bless you.
