Happy Orthodox

Reading the thread "A question to converts" I suddenly realized what kind of obstacles and difficulties many people had to overcome to find and embrace the ancient faith "once delivered to the Saints."
So I decided to open a thread to give those of you who had a tough time converting a big hug  first of all, and a big "CONGRATULATIONS! YOU MADE IT IN THE NAME OF THE LORD!" You've done a good job choosing to carry your cross and follow Christ and overcome all the difficulties! You had to leave your churches, become enemies in the eyes of those you love, of your close friends, you had to change your worldview and lifestiles, you had to accomodate to the new requirements and rules, you had to tolerate those cradles, and all that you have done in humility and faith. You have obeyed the Lord, Who proclaimed: "If any [man] come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple (Luke 14:26)." This is worthy of respect! So, salute to you, my dear friends, and I am happy to know you! :liturgy: :crosseo:
(This is a lame ode to those who have overcome the obstacles in becoming Orthodox and also to those who are in their journey right now, way to go!)
