I am shocked the term Christian or Baptist is associated with this?? Is anyone else here offended? This has been brought to my attention and I am for once speechless? Is this what people think when I say I am Baptist?
Are there Baptists in this forum that adhere to this?
Because I have never seen a place that considers the "unsaved" morons, and tells them so before they walk through the door. They have tests that you take that are so extremist answers you seriously cannot pick one - if you answer wrong they actually say “No you Unsaved Moron”...and if you look through their beliefs – I have no idea what to say?? "Beards are not allowed unless you get specific permission from the pastor". "Failure to have a demon-possessed infant sterilized". "The minute you are saved the first thing you should do is buy a suit?" I could go on and on... Is this even allowed here on these boards?
This is not a pot shot at anyone if this is for real – I seriously want to understand where any of these thoughts line up with Baptist thinking?
I guess I am quite a bit more naive than I already thought I was?
Is this a joke?

Nevermind - I think it is a joke.. I went to the women section and realized it is a man dressed as a woman ---> Named Judy O'Christian
Hey I didn't know.... you can remove this thread - jokes on me.

You are so right. It is an obscene, outrageous parody and completely an invention of blasphemous minds. Check these out:

I cannot get the link to come up?

Thanks for the update to the link. I was totally in the dark about this. Some of my friends know how heated I get when someone "mis-represents" Our Father... thought it would be funny to send to me...as they often do with questions for me --- they had no idea I would publicly humiliate myself in the process..
Well, at least you know where I stand on the whole issue.

Actually, there could be many, and there are many, who are fooled by this awful travesty of a site. How could such cruelty go unchallenged?
You have provided the opportunity to reveal this hoax for what it is. And I am very grateful to you.
God Bless Us.

My guess is that this website was created by people who wished to mock orthodox Christianity. It is a good lesson in what the world hates about the Gospel of Christ, if nothing else.

It truly is sad. Hey, even I fell for it - there are so many variations of Baptist - it truly can be scary. But this was so far off the extreme end - I knew something was seriously wrong. Honestly, I almost was afraid to post it here because if it were true -- my opinion on "disagreements" and I believe the forums view on disagreements. I did not want to "put anyone down". But as I read further--after posting-- I knew this just might not happen in this instance.. I cannot agree to someone claiming “Jesus sent his disciples to kill sinners”... etc.. etc...
What if someone happens across this and thinks it is legitimate? Even when checking dress code it links you to a legitimate college/school.. I tell you tonight I plan to start praying about this site. That God will impress on these owners to take it down. :prayer:

The truly scary thing is when people truly fall for the parody and totally believe that this is the way all christians are. Don't worry flymonkie, when I first found that site, I also thought it was for real. I was so angered that I was ready to sign up and chew them out. The people who do this sort of thing may not face the consequences here in the world, but one day they too will stand before God. Oh what a day...

This is a generous opinion about the website. Mockery can fall way short of being vicious and degrading.
But a see it as a good lesson in how much the world simply hates the entire Gospel of Christ and His Faithful. The obvious intent and purpose of the site was not a lesson about the flaws of Christians who fall short of their beliefs.
This obnoxious site was meant to be used in ways to demean Christians.
To dismiss it, as I have seen in a search about it, as humorous and harmless parody, or showing up the failings, in the opinions of non-believers, of our religion would not be tolerated by our friends, the Muslims about their faith.
The only intelligent reaction of anyone would have to be sick disgust.

the sad thing is that it is affiliated with internet infidels. Unfortunately, a lot of our members "felloewship" over there. I was one of them, but I haven't been there in a long time. I can't say I love God out of one side of my mouth and hang out over there with the other side of my mouth. The same reason with Cross and Flame. I cannot hang out with men that hyphenate their name with another man's name and then try to tell me that this honors God. Maybe his god, but not mine.

Yes, I see they are apparently involved in other suspicious sites too.
I think once people delve into it they realize it is a joke (obviously not right away) But a very good example how Satan can twist and mimic God to confuse as always, a Lie, just enough of the truth to make it confusing.
What bothers me is that it took several pages before I got to one that did not look serious. I truly thought this was potentially legitimate. If I would have gone to the front page and just looked at the “ads” which I usually never pay attention to (sorry guys!).. I probably would have caught on. Once I read beliefs – then to the tests… then to the header because the tests were freaky… and I was really upset at that point – looking for the originators of the site. I looked at the site statement, which made no sense to me then finally a few other places each step becoming angrier and angrier for what they were saying. And posted this thread. Totally befuddled. Then right after I went to the women section and had seen the picture. Figured it out. Felt like an idiot. My heart is still racing from the anger I truly became upset by this. I seriously hate Spiritual warfare.
(I do have to say somewhere in the shock and confusion I could not figure out how I never heard of Red Sea World or something to that effect in Iowa  ) Totally caught me off guard.

Red Sea World ? I wanna go! That would be cool. :D
What a mean spirited thing. People actually see Christians as this type of legalistic God zombie. Very sad indeed.

I think I might have felt the way Flynmonkie did if the first time I saw that site I didn't know it was a joke site. I think it's in a way a cautionary tale about what we need to be careful not to become.
I also think it's funny in places but I do have a very low sense of humor for which I apologize in advance.

Yes, especially if you have MET someone like this – of course they don’t call themselves Baptists! I think it can seem funny truly, but not when your being questioned by someone whom has been seeking as a new Christian and you *think* they are taking it seriously  So I did what I normally do... head straight here to have someone explain where in the world these people came from. But I did have a good idea how they got there! Legalism at it’s finest! – As my kids say – I got punked! They are all just having a grand ole time over here about it – you might as well too.
Can you imagine if we really believed any of these things? Good point joykins – it might just make people think (yet another way God can use anything to deliver His message!) There are some people out there that do “think” like this. But I still would rather it not be there.
Mesue – Yeah that is what I was thinking – “There is a Red Sea World?” Dumb-as-a-bag-o-rocks I tell you.
Diane & Joy – you would say that! I am slowly finding my sense of humor about it.. ;)

I don't think this is funny at all. Why do we put up with sites that mock us as Baptists and Christians.

I think that we all are human beings
As well as Christians who believe in Christ
As our Savior & Lord
Putting our faith and trust in Him
We shouldn't IMO, mock other denominations!
