February 28, 2006 is the deadline to apply to the Primary Care Paramedicine program.

I applied in early November to one school and also to their residence, it's about 5 hours from home and it's my first choice. I would love to go there and live in their residence.

But there is also another school, which is harder to get into, more money, etc. I am just trying to decide whether or not I should apply there also, because it costs money to apply and they also want a bunch of medical testing done along with the application. It just seems really expensive just to APPLY for school!!! I would commute an hour each way daily, I don't want to live there. So, the first school I mentioned would be excellent. I am just not sure what to do and I am having trouble deciding and really need some prayer.

There is also a heavy lift test for the second school and a bunch of other tests and an INTERVIEW! It seems very overwhelming.

For what it's worth, I went to one of the cheapest nursing schools in my area and it actually is one of the best. Not THE best, but one of the best. There is a nursing school in my area that is very expensive and puts out lousy nurses. They're good at paprework, but get them on the floor and they're kinda cold and dangerous. That's why they get promoted :D Keeps 'em from hurting someone :P
