The Ministry Candidacy Process

Hey all. I'm sure that there are probably a lot of clergy on this thread who already completed candidacy, but I was wondering if there was anybody who are currently still lay but going through the process? I'd love to have a conversation with other candidates like myself so we can swap stories and support. :)

Great idea! I'm currently in divinity school but, being the slacker that I am, haven't gotten into the canidacy process. It is something that I'm going to try to get started shortly. I would love to be able to keep in touch, though, to help support one another and bounce ideas and problems off of one another.

my wife and I finished the candidacy program some years ago. I am just now a probationary member and she is just starting seminary next week as a local pastor. I know of one poster here who is a candidate, but he rarely posts anymore. If I speak with him, I'll point him your way. His name here is paulican.
