What are some of the gifts you look forward to this year (or maybe have already received) ?

Amen. I can't wait to see whats in store. I'm trying to be a more God centered person. Learn to trust in him and not worry as much if he doesnt answer prayer.

I noticed the sunrise this morning as I got up... it wasn't anything "exceptional", but it reminded me that God's mercies are new every morning.

I "goofed" last night... Only 3 days into the new year and I messed up my "lifestyle change" big-time by eating 4 pieces of fudge. Four !!! (God, in His faithfulness, spoke to me in the middle of the night when I woke up with heartburn, too!!)

God seems to be talking to me about "hunger"... I know I'm not really hungry for food... and I know I hunger for God.

I wonder what else I hunger for?

"Lifestyle Change" ha ha ha ha ha ha.

I'm not laughing at you but thats what my wife says it is too. She did weight watchers for a year or so and got down to her goal weight of 138 I think. She doesnt do weight watchers anymore but she follows a plan of her own and works in some WW things. She calls it her "lifestyle change" and its worked very well. I'm proud of her. Shes a workout warrior though. Something that I have a hard time with doing.

Get back on that horse Linda!!! You can do it. My wife did.

Yeah, Happy New Year to you all! I don't know about you, but I am so excited about what 2006 has in store!

2006 has new things in store...new outlook on life, new way to handle life
Most of all...2006 has a closer walk with God!!

I think I probably "missed" a lot of "stuff" in 2005. I want to be AWARE this year. I want to look with "new" eyes, hear with "new" ears, taste with "new" intention... I want to become "sensual" in a Godlike way that opens my heart to thanksgiving and wonder.

My dh just called and said I'd forgotten my lunch. He said he'd bring it to me. I heard more than words -- I heard love.

And the "cold" outside this morning ... it woke me up! (Not such a bad way to be when you get to work... ;) )

I'd love to share with others some "out-of-the-box" ways we've experienced God. I think it would be such an encouragement !!!
