Some Methodist and Wesleyan denominations have Bishops. The United Methodist Church does and the I believe the Free Methodists do also. The historically black Methodist denominations (African Methodist Episcopal, African Methodist Episcopal Zion, and Christian Methodist Episcopal) have bishops.
Some Methodist and Wesleyans have an office that functions like a bishop, but is called General Sup't.
Outside the US, most Methodists and Wesleyans have bishops, but not all.

British Methodists and churches affiliated to them historically- do not have bishops.
They have Presidents.
Their presidents are not for life but for short terms (some for a year)
Some Methodist denominations around the world have both Bishops and Presidents.
Bishops are representative church authorities (ic of ordination, relating to other churches etc) while Presidents weild the real power because they have the power to appoint pastors to local churches...
Some bishops in Methodism are bishops for life (eg in the UMC)
Bishops in other parts of the world are bishops for a term only eg 4 years...after which they have to be re elected or they return to their presbyter role (ie they are ordinary ordained elders). This is because the episcopacy is not seen as a third office (deacon, elder, bishop) but merely as a function.

The Free Methodist Church in my state has a Bishop.
I couldnt tell you who he is though. Shows how much importance it is to me.
Jesus Christ and the sound teaching of the truth in our church is my importance.

My Bishop is a woman....hmmmmwhere are you? My last Bishop was a woman, she moved to Virginia. My DS is currently a woman. My old DS was a man, my current bishop is a man--makes no difference to me.
edited to say, oops, you are in Va. So Bishop Kammerer is now your Bishopl. She was a good Bishop, we disagreed on many theological issues, but hey, that's part of the methodist life
