Eschatology Subforums

Hi,

Would it be possible to divide eschatology into subforums? There is an increasing amount of animosity and flaming among those who hold different opinions and it's difficult to have any kind of meaningful discussion because of this. Based on what I've seen there, I think it would work best if the forums were divided as follows:

- Partial Preterism
- Historicism
- Futurism
- Current Events and Conspiracy Theories

I also think that a person's end times view as stated in their profile should limit which forums they can post on. And the "Current Events and Conspiracy Theories" forum should be limited to futurists.

I agree that there should be these subforums may be it will make it alittle more peaceful...

I'm with you guys. I hate putting Christians on ignore but sometimes that's what needs to be done just to make the thread more readable.

In order to delve into the finer details of understanding and veiwpoint, it would be nice to have the subforms for those of like minds to converse. While there are vast differences even in the subforms suggested, at least it narrow down the field of controversy. I think the idea has great potential.

We can keep the open forum for the free for all. But it would be more peaceful for those who would like to focus on an area and explore the little nuances of it.

We could use a little reorganization in the system.....or an attitude adjustment..
There is always going to be some contention of viewpoint,but i agree there is a certain amount of uncalled for animosity that this may or may not fix...i vote we give it a shot and see how it works in practice....Perhaps well get less "overlip"

I'm in agreement on having subforums so that we can divide things on a thinner point.

I would REALLY like to see this too! I get tired of 'debating' everything, when I just want to study something. My views tend to clash with many on end times stuff, so I can't post anything without people jumping in to disgree and post their views...it gets really old...I get tired of repeating myself all the time...which is a waste of time when I just want to study with others like minded on my views on this. This way I can find out for sure if this view is correct in lining up with the bible or needs to be thrown out. As things stand now, with all views on one fourm nothing really gets done as far as learning and I mostly just end up avoiding that fourm all together...:(

I would really like to be able to discuss certain topics in depth without every single thread being de-railed by people who disagree with the topic altogether.
