I think he is a decent source. I've used his commentaries a few times, and I've liked what I've seen.

I think he's more calvinist than Baptist, But it bears to look at.

He was charged with being a hyper-Calvinist, I find that very hard to believee but he did come close. Personally I like him. :)

Love him, one of the best commentators of his time. I have used his commentaries extenstively and they have not failed me yet. Great theologian!

Gill Rocks, his writting are well worth the time. I heard him once called the most proliflic baptist writter of all times.... gives the Presby's a run for their money :)
