On the website of an Antiochian Orthodox church near my university they had clips of the chanting of the gospel in Arabic done by the priest's wife and also some other chanting. It's so beautiful! I couldn't believe that the bible could be sung/chanted so beautifully. I've never heard it in any way except read before and this was just amazing. I've always admired the Muslim prayers as being very beautiful and this has the beauty but it's praising Jesus instead . Does anyone know of any websites that have more clips like this where I could listen to more?

Also for anyone who is Antiochian, how often during normal DL do they do this sort of chanting?

P.S. I also learned on the website that they have Inquirer's classes so ...... starting when I go back to school in January I'm going to go to them. I'm really excited. :D

This is not in Arabic but you might enjoy the music from Valaam. (http://www.valaam.ru/en/songs/mp3/)

Also - if you have not seen it yet I highly suggest Ancient Faith Radio (http://ancientfaithradio.com/)

You may also want to check out the "Learn to Chant (http://goarch.org/en/chapel/chant.asp)" section of GOARCH.
