Ok I noticed the Titanic dress we had which I love! Anyway I figured we could have some other really pretty dresses from other movies for instance...

The First Daughter dress for 160 blessings with the quote "For those who look royal in purple."

Or maybe a Scooby Doo charcter. It would be cool if they were outfits though, instead of buying the skirt/pants then the shirts.

Yeah I saw that dress on the movie and fell in love with it, so my mom copied it (she sews) and I used that for a Jr. Miss SCHOLARSHIP pagent, I was in. It was very pretty!

Well where I live it's called "Jr. Miss scholarship pagent", and no, it's not their last one. They had talked about stopping the prgram/pagent, but then I think they just decided that individual counties can perform the program/pagent but the state isn't going to be holding anymore. So once you win you won't go to the state competition, you'll just stop.

Oh I believe you that they refer to it as a pageant. That's what it is, after all. :) When I was involved in it, our local/regional director would get all huffy and say, "It's not a pageant, it's a program!" *insert roll eyes smilie here*

Well that's good they are allowing the locals to continue. It's a shame that state and nationals have stopped though. Pageantry is a tough business. I'm on a one year sabbatical as a director for my own system right now, and I don't think I'll be going back. If Jr. Miss closes it's doors, what chance do I possibly stand of getting my little, fledgling system off the ground?
