View Full Version : "West Bank" Conspiracy

Most people do not know this, but the term "West Bank" is a journalistic term that was conjured up to slant people's views to support the Palestinians.

The West Bank should truthfully be labeled the East Bank.  Why?  Because in actuality, the land is technically the "East Bank" belonging to Israel, not the West Bank of Jordan (as the Palestinians claim).  If you pull out a map, you can clearly see this.

I know personally from going to Israel a couple of times as well as speaking with two very well-known journalists that explained this issue.

Observe the way the media tries to influence people into making them think that the "East Bank" belongs to Jordan (Palestinians).  Be cautious of journalistic terms that have other motives.

No problem!
I usually get frustrated at what the media protrays. I had to go and find out for myself!

Yes, it is hard to believe anything the leftist media reports these days. I think that is why the FoxChannel has become so popular. At least, it says it reports all sides -- most of the time. :)

Yes, Fox News is my favorite. They are pretty good at being balanced.

Yes, East Israel, West of Jordan...And since Jordan use to somehow somewhat have control over that area, that is how this issue got started...It was called West Bank for along time becuz they had authority during those times....

And btw, just to warn u guys dont trust FOX News, they change their stories and how many times do they pull them off the net before we can get a change to go back and read them...??? No news can be trusted today, even Christian sites....Be careful.

God bless

You are right a4c. I don't trust any one source for news. I just happen to prefer FOX above CNN. CNN is very anti-Israel also very liberal (in general) in it's approach and I at least can see more neutral views on FOX. We must be very careful for sure!

I find the term "west bank" to be manipulative in it's usage since most do not know the history...

Thanks for your input, BTW!

Thought I'd move this back up in case anyone is interested in some proofs of media slant.
