Shalom, y'all!

I'm asking this question in different congregational forums to avoid the debate in GT. Please bear with me.

I'm currently trying to understand and find the truth on the issue of eternal security, and I'd like to ask you something.

Does your denom/common faith congregations believe in it? And what scripture do you use to back this up?

Thanks in advance for the responses.

Merry Christmas!

I find it easier just to link here, which will give the position from the official website of the United Methodist Church (other Wesleyan denominations are fairly similar in thought on this topic):
http://archives.umc.org/interior.asp?ptid=1&mid=1385

In short, except for a small percentage of Calvinistic/Reformed/Whitefield/whatever-you-want-to-call-them Methodists, OSAS is not accepted. Salvation can be lost/rejected, but it's not flimsy in that regard. It pretty much requires a vehement, active rejection of grace (this vehement, active rejection of grace is what I'm sure many would identify as the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit mentioned in Matthew and John).
