Hey, I was wondering if anyone else was a Nazarene ministers son? I am 16 and I live in Virginia. Just leave a post and maybe we can start talking.

Thanks, center

Not Nazarene, but I am the 44 year old son of two UMC pastors! Does this count? :)

I'm curious as to her experience and others. we hope to learn from the benefit of successes and mistakes others have made. My wife and I are both pastors, so our kids have it doubly bad (like ClementofRome above).

...and look at how horrible I turned out! bwahahahahahahahaaaaahahaha! (if you only knew the truth of the matter! )

In fact, I am in the process of writing a book....the working title is For P.K's, By P.K's: A Survival Guide for Preacher's Kids. I am soliciting anecdotes, horror stories, joy stories, success stories etc. If any of you PK's want to contact me by PM or email, I am happy to share what I have going on. It is in the early stages of production, so it is never to late to share!

Back in the summer we had this discussion a brewing, but it kinda fell through the cracks:

BTW herev, great pic of the kids. They are real beauties!

I am a UMC PK. There were many good things about it that have served me well. In other ways, it certainly had its challenges that have also helped shape the adult that I became.

Around here we usually call it a PK (like others have called it above me) and no, I am not one but I am friends with alot of people who are proud (and some not so proud) to call themselves PK's

I think the pastor's kid at my church (who is now in his first year in college), didn't have it too rough. He was very nice. He tried so hard to be funny...oh..boy..he was. He was a good kid and he is a good person.
