Going into the final week of the Advent season, I want to write and say Merry Christmas as we prepare for the most holy celebration of Christmas and the celebration of the Christ-Mass
Christmas is a big deal here, I have over 2000 lights and a large lighted nativity scene (That plays instrumental music for an hour each nioght) Yet in this neighborhood, My display is considered Small!
Needless to say Christmas is my favorite time of year. I love the celebration of Midnight Mass at the local Episcopal church, where I attend throughout the advent season
I love the lights, the music, the advent candles and the celebrations leading up to it
But I think the reason it is so meaningful is because I make it a very spiritual experience.
Regardless of the material or commercial aura that the holiday has assumed, to me it is a most beautiful celebration of Christ's birth
May you all have a most wonderful and joyous Christmas season
