I hope no one minds this kind of post. I felt like posting something a bit less stressful and sorta fun.
I come from a family of "T"'s. Was wondering if anyone could top this(Names can start with any letter...but all have to be the same)
My siblings: Tim, Tammy, Teri, Tracy, and myself, Troy
Tammy married Tom, and had Trennette and Tanner
Tracy married Tracy...lol thats always fun!
I, Troy, married Tina. We have Tabitha, Taylor, Terra, and Troy Jr.
Tim has a son Tyler. His other son Chad married Toya.
That's 16 "T"'s in my family. Just wondering if there are any others out there like mine.
There are 13 other family memebers that don't fit in though...lol.

Well, it's not my family, but some of our friends have a similar family name thing going on. Their names all rhyme...Ray, Fay, Gay, Gray, Shay, Clay, Trey. I know I'm leaving someone out, but needless to say, I'm sure their poor mother called them every name in the family before hitting on the right one.

My hubby and his brothers and sister are all M's. Michael, Matthew, Mark, and Misty.

We have 2 little E's. Emily and Eden. And I once ran into a lady who had a friend with four little girls...Elizabeth, Emily, Eden, and Eve...she called them Elly, Emmy, Edy, and Evie for short. I'll bet she was always confusing their names.

But, yeah, I think your family gets the award for this one, Troy. :)

Lol...mom always would (and still does) call us by each other's names. We don't bother correcting her anymore.
Our family all attended the same K-12 school. Some of the teachers there had all of us in their class at one point or another. I remember my elementary music teacher going through the whole list..."Tim, er um, Tammy, no Teri, Tracy, Troy!!" I couldn't believe she even threw Tammy in there. That was the only time that ever happened!
I love the family with the names that rhymed!!

Well I can't top you, but my family is similar. We have sort of the same thing, just with less people and to a lesser degree.

My siblings and I: Cory, Carrie, Carmen
Cory married Christi and had Chance and Courtney
My mom is Karen. Even though it's not a "C" it's still the same sound.
My cousins: Kevin and Kirk

I married Rob so I broke the cycle and we didn't name out kids anything with a pattern.

Both my cousins married women whose name start with "J" and their mom's name is Judy.
Kevin married Jane and had Carter and Jake
Kirk married Jenna and had Joslyn

My uncle, John, married Claudia and they have 7 kids all starting with "J".

So K/C and J seem to dominate our family. The only ones not fitting in are my dad and my husband and sons. Kinda weird since most of the spouses fit the pattern. You can control the names of your kids, but the spouses is just by coincidence. My sister is not married so we'll see if she comes up with a C or J.

We also had a pastor one time named Ken who married Kenda. Kenda's twin is named Ken and pastor Ken's sister married a Ken. Talk about confusing family get togethers.

Well the close I can get is with my hubby's mom and sister. There are just three names:

Mother: Sharon
Daughter: Sherri
Granddaughter Sharlee

And then the Father is Ray and his son (my hubby) is Ray.
I am also named after my father too, just like hubby. But, uh, won't be sharing that name with y'all! :P ^_^

What a great thread though!!

Oh, I thought of another one. We have probably 6 different people in our family with "ray" as a middle name. Jodi Rae is my brother's fiance...her brother is Joel Ray...their mother is Trina Rae...and my niece (my brother and Jodi's daughter) is Aliyah Rae...my husband has an uncle named Charles Ray...and my little one is Eden Rae.

WQWell, if all the same letter is not confusing enough... I have 3 uncle Robert's... My dad has a brotehr named Robert (who is known as Robert), my mum has a brother named Robert (who is known as Bob) and then my mum's sister married Robert (who is known as Rob) Oh Yeah... My grandpa's name is Robert too!!! Gosh!!! Plus my cousin has the middle name Robert too... I really hope I don't marry a Robert just because that would make it ultra confusing!!!

My nan is called Jean, her dad was called John and her brothers are called John and Joe. John had John, so when John, John and John were being called, it must have been confusing.

My college boyfriend's mom's family had similar naming which are really fun because some of the names are really old-fashioned. The bf's mom's name was Ulah. Her sisters were Beulah, and Shulah. Her brothers were Hubert, Humphrey, Herbert and Henry.
