Name: Ferrari Shield
cost: 100
Description: For wind protection when going at high speeds.
i have done everything i know how to do, but i dont know how to make the shield look like it is being held at an angle. i could probably figure it out, but i just want to know if there is any certain way to do it.

We'll probably want to make the shield a little smaller so it fits the character, and tilt it a little so it looks like it's being held in the lower hand. It wouldn't be hard for an armory designer to take it from what you provided. So, don't sweat finishing the shield up if you don't have time.
Thanks!

ok, does it need to be rotated clockwise or counter-clockwise? or do you mean it needs to be distorted so that the left hand side (or the character's right hand side) is smaller so we see it at an angle?
anyway the reason im trying to do this myself is because i am trying to get better with photoshop. so when i make cars and other things, i go as far as i can, and then if the design team wants me to do more, i try to do it. then if i cant, i'll let you do it...

The second way, distorted so the left hand side is smaller and looks a little further away, and so that the "center" of the shield is offset a little to the left to foreshorten the shield a little. Does that make sense? If not, I can show you an example with another shield.

so i'll shrink it about a few pixels smaller, maybe 4-7?
and you want me to make the left hand side (the character's right hand side) of the shield a little smaller?

That's what I'm thinking.Have you looked at the shields in the armory for reference?

http://www1.christianforums.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=57349&stc=1You know, this one before your latest looks the best.
It just looks a wee big.Is that how you want it to look?
Cna you place it in front of a character to see how it looks or do you want me to do that?

go ahead and do that. and also, if you want to tweak it a little you can do that, just so long as I see before it goes to the armory. is that ok?

You think the size is ok? I like the shields smaller, but I admittedly like to see more of the characters' clothes.

It's a matter of opinion,Raven.
I 1st thought it was too big,it still kinda is.
But,if that's how he likes it?
He's just not able to tilt it the right way,but maybe it doesn't need to be tilted.

ummm i dont really like how its cut off on the side. is that because its too big? if thats the case i think i'll let you shrink it and tilt it. i have only started learning about photoshop, so i dont know a whole lot about it. so you can go ahead and do what you thing makes it look best.

Yes,it needs tilted (or revolved) on its center axis, you're just making the left side smaller by squishing it.
We can take your original shield and make it work if you're done trying.;)

I don't think the page fully loaded earlier when I took a look at this thread. It looked like we were still waiting for your thoughts on Knight's version.
^_^ Never mind! I'll post a new version for you to look at later tonight.
