This is rediculous. If he did or didnt. who cares? Not one person knows for sure what he was and it shouldnt matter. Thats not our business. I grew up with the books and complete video set and I am not a catholic or a devil worshipper. Why are "Christians" killing themselves over petty articles like this? There are plenty more important things than a movie or book. Anyways I think the article was stupid and the time put into it was wasted. If someone wants to make change so bad and productively help the world. Do volunteer work or go to New Orleans and really help someone. But of course you cant expect that from those that sit there and write a article thinking they have done work for Jesus.

He understood that much of the Bible is mythological
I am still laughing!
a Song wrighter suddenly is the expert of C.S. Lewis?
This was too funny, not to ignore, altho the author is ignorable as far as their qualifications go.
Anyway, not worth reading, really.
God Bless

That's an interesting article! I think I like C.S. Lewis even more after reading it. But I'm definitely not a fundamentalist. :pink:

The person who wrote the article sounds like a typical narrow minded bigot. I especially thought the statement,"...Fundamentalists hate anyone who they disagree with..." False...the guy seriously needs to get a life and stop being such a bigot.

Interesting article, but most of it wasn't really news to me. So, C.S. Lewis wasn't a fundamentalist! Big deal. Neither was Tolkien, whose works many modern Christians love, and rightly so. Lewis' fiction offers a wholesome alternative to much of the dreck that litters the sci-fi/fantasy section of the local bookstore, that sadly, many Christians willingly imbibe.

There are fundies who are that way. Believe me. They are that way with us liberals and with gay people.
