I liked this book. I've been studying the RCC on and off for 10+ years and I still learned something new! How about you?

I do think the book would be great for someone who doesn't know much about Catholics. I'd like to get one for my dad, mom, sister and brother-in-law, and possibly for my Grandparents as well but definitely can't afford it. At least not that many copies. I could buy one and pass it around but I'd rather them have their own copy for a reference. By the way, does it have an Imprimatur or Nihil Obstat?

You could buy some gently used copies Holly. As for the Imprimatur or Nihil Obstat question? I don't recall, but one author, John Trigilio (http://www.ewtn.com/faith/QA/expertslist.htm), is affiliated with EWTN.

Catholicism for Dummies is a great book. Not only does it explain misconceptions and truths of doctrine, it also gets into the social and statistical aspects of the Church. Good book even for the learned theologian. :)
