Apologies in advance for what may be considered a dumb question....what is the Lutheran World Federation? I know that they claim to have the "largest" number of Lutheran members worldwide and I suspect (perhaps incorrectly) that the ELCA / Missouri Synod divide are not members. This pretty much pertains to the Lutheran-Roman Catholic Joint Declaration on the Doctrine of Justification and who agrees with it and who does not. I confess that I'm not totally up to speed on the different branches (denominiations? divisions? sects?) within the faith.
Sorry for any confusion - the search function around here is not so good.
