I always wondered this..When you Pray do you have to say it out loud or can you say it in your head? Will God hear you if you say it in your head?

YES HE WILL!I know this from expiernce to.I was talking to him in my head and I got the awnser in a odd way.He can hear every thoguht in your head.

Sometimes the best way to pray is to yourself, in your head. :hug:

As long as the silent prayer is sincere I don't see why he would not hear you.

God will hear your Prayer if you speak it out loud or quietly in your mind. God knows your heart and knows what you need before you ask.

Sometimes God answers our prayers before we ask Him.
Isaiah 65:24,"I will answer them before they even call to Me. While they are still talking to Me about their needs, I will go ahead and answer their prayers!"

How do I know what to pray about?
Romans 8:26-27,"And in the same way—by our faith—the Holy Spirit helps us with our daily problems and in our praying. For we don't even know what we should pray for, nor how to pray as we should; but the Holy Spirit prays for us with such feeling that it cannot be expressed in words. And the Father who knows all hearts knows, of course, what the Spirit is saying as He pleads for us in harmony with God's own will."

When I accepted Christ, on January 30, 2002, I was listening to the radio. It was a bible study program. Before the program started, they read letters. One was from a listener in a country that kills Christians. He said he was afraid to tell people he was a Christian because he would be killed.

I thought, "That's a real shame."
Then I felt someone say to me, "Why are you afraid?"

God heard my thoughts - even though I wasn't really praying. He responded to, if you want to call it this, idle chit-chat. I wasn't talking out loud, and I definitely wasn't talking to Him.

Long story short, I pulled my car into a Wal-Mart parking lot and asked Him to take over my life. I haven't been the same since!

I don't see why God wouldn't hear us while we pray silently. He's all-powerful, after all!
