THIS is our world are we happy with it?
Most of us that post on this site including me live a comfortable life style. We are far from the war in Iraq we travel freely we enjoy all of what life has for us and our children.
How many times a day do you stop to pray for those that may not have the same comforts as we do maby you think to your self that its there problem and not yours and baa what can i do about it...
I have not said it more than maby 50 times a day to myself or to another person near me PRAY its not my idea its the lords idea to PRAY.
Look at the world and think about how many brothers and sisters there are out there that need our PRAYER and those that may not know the lord how about them why cant we PRAY for all to know our lord CHRIST JESUS who died for all of us not Tom or Sara or just Kate all of US.
What is anything we do good for without doing all we do for the lord if i was told like others have been told to follow christ we must sell all we have and carry our cross i would not only carry my cross i would carry a view more if allowed how many of you out there are scared to wittness or to pray before a meal in public.
MAN thats the world inside of you we live for Jesus not the world.
We post our views on this site and it could be a simple question like (does jesus love us)and no matter what there will a wolf in sheeps clothing there to say NO.
We all no the lord loves us and we all argue for what ????? ourselfs mostly what do we gain ???? not a thing and we no it.
There is one thing we can agree on PRAYER all of us no to pray its the way we have that relationship with the lord if you dont pray start and if you need help mail me i will be so happy to pray for you all.
I love all of you please dont start a argument or post what the world wants you to post after i submit this in fact i will pray no one does Just love like CHRIST LOVES

I pray quite a bit all through out the day.
But I know that praying things get better in the world WILL NOT happen...not in prophecy...

I will pray for those who are struggling physically and spiritually so Jesus will come in to their life and give them peace and happiness. But the bible says its going to get alot worse before it gets better.God Bless :prayer:

2 Timothy 3:2-5 "People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of god."

Matthew 24:7-9 "Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains. Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me.At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people."

2 Timothy 4:3-4"For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths."

Every day I am amazed at how the severely persecuted Christians in China still have greater faith than any of us. Let's just keep in mind that the world will get worse for Christians as time progresses.

It's so easy to forget sometimes what others are continually going through, not having the freedoms we do, or enough food to eat, and the list goes on and on. Thank you for this post, because it was a reminder to me. :prayer:

I feel that b/c I know I should be living like St Francis for example but really I do nothing. I do live in a very humble manner most of the time but only by North American standards..I have too much why do I need more than one pair of clothing when people are starving? how can my concience let me spend any money at all beyond absolute need. its all hyprocrisy or cowardise with me. Sure this PC is very old and worthless but I could sell it for a few hundred bucks anyways. Thats a lot of money when you are hungry man..drop that in a homeless familys hands who cant feed their kids. Granted I don't know any but I won't find them sitting here will I? no, I don't deserve Gods Grace at all, thats why I believe so much..my lack of good deeds. im not saying thats what everyone needs do, but its what God tells me is right for me. i just wonder how we think this world can get any better and really do nothing. sure revelations and 666 and end of days, im not denying that but it could be 1000000 billion years for all we know. its like we are just falling to fear and thinking its over anyways. whats so horrible about it is that its possible at anytime, we could just fix this or at least turn it around in a drastic fashion. This isn't a Christian issue for me, just something I think we are all guilty of and im not accussing, im not at all...maybe it's just me falling that short but when you look at the world.
yea, its rough that was a really good post though and I know how you feel about the world. Just make sure your perception doesnt get darkened by the media I guess. Thats the difficult thing really, trying to keep a light heart through it all.
great post though really and well I can't really communciate any real empathy here but u know what I mean.
God bless you and try to keep the heart light. my rant there just helped me :)

In all these horrors, though we should be sure to pray for the oppressors and the perpetrators too. Pray that God opens their hearts, that they receive His light and His gift, pray that they see the light and end their horrible ways, even as Saul was able to do.

Just a thought...

I pray that God will is done on earth as it is in heaven. That is the perfect prayer because I can pray for what I want a person to get or experience but if it is out of God's will I'm not helping the person I am hurting them. So even though I throw my two cents in about situations. Ultimately, it is not my will, but the Lord's!
