This book is incredible... it teaches so much... this is probably on of my favorite books....
like this quote:
"Remeber that all are frail, but none so frail as yourself"
-- the Immitation of Christ.

This book is like a treasure chest. 10000x deeper than any current "Christian living" books out there today.

hmmmm..i have it on my shelf..i read parts of it years ago but i dont think i have ever read it in its entirety. My friend was reading it over the summer and would sometimes read parts to me over the phone. Maybe its time i read through it all on my own.

Thomas A. Kempis is not a Saint correct?? Was he a theologian?

Just a line of this work, about taking uo Christ's cross, kept me going through a tough time.
I haven't read the whole work, though, it was from a collection of extracts on my father-in-law's bookshelf.
I've understood that this was Agatha Christie's favourite book.
