I was browsing through "Hymns and Psalms" (British Methodist hymnbook) today - as you do - and discovered that the tune that we most often sing for "O for a thousand tongues to sing" IS in the book, but under "While Shepherds watched their flocks by night."!! How amazing :eek: :eek: , I have never sung "While shepherds watched" to anything other than the traditional tune. I wonder what other gems there are in there that I've missed?
There's no real point to this post, I just thought I'd tell you - and I still can't decide on hymns for Sunday. :sigh:
