View Full Version : The girl's a Methodist now (well, almost)...

Hello all,

I just wanted to let you know that my husband and I have decided to join a local Methodist Church on December 4th, God willing (the next date we will be in town on a Sunday).

I've already changed my faith icon from non-denominational to Methodist, so I guess you could say Wesley's parish is my new home forum! :)

Thanks for your kind answers to my earlier question about the statement of commitment you make when joining.

Welcome, Grace :) I have to confess to you that I love pulling up your posts and reading them! I'm not geared towards in depth study, am more of a generalist, know-a-little-about-a-lot-of-things learner, but love learning from people who are very studious. I look forward to fellowshipping with you and learning from you here and around the board.

I pray your coming back to the Methodist church is a good thing for your walk with the Lord and for the people in your church :hug:

Welcome, Grace, and Happy 40th! ...I'm about 11 months behind ya on that one and it doesn't bother me a bit :)

I've enjoyed beginning to get to know you and look forward to continuing. Maybe we can start some early Church history threads here in WP so the non-debate congregational rules will keep discussion civil. :)
