I gather that they cost a lot of blessings,

but do you get blessings back for doing the job??

I think you might be misreading the jobs descriptions, DD. It doesn't cost you anything to get a forum job, you get PAID a salary each week! :clap: You can only get a job if you have the minimum number of posts listed in the jobs list, and each week you have to go to the jobs area and click to collect your blessings salary! Nothing to lose, but it sometimes is hard to remember to collect your salary! Whenever you log on, you can check how much time there is left before you can collect it. Can't remember off the top of my head what the minimum number of posts is that you need before you can get the lowest level of job, but just click on the jobs button on the toolbar. :)

When you reach 100 posts you can sign up to the Apprentice job. That will give you 5 blessings a week (so long as you remember to collect your salary) and it doesn't cost you any blessings at all :)
