Thanks for that Karen - I always love being reminded of this kind of stuff. I love how many of the old testament images are fulfilled in christ. I did a bible study on Hebrews called "Shadows to Reality" and it focussed a lot on how Jesus is the reality of what the OT practices were the shadow of. I'm pretty sure the tabernacle was one we looked at.

Yes, that is what I liked about this site - in the 'Bible in 90 days' we recently read all the details of building the tabernacle, and often it is so hard to reconcile some of that OT stuff with Jesus and NT stuff, so I always like it, too, when someone clever points out the connections! :)
