i havent heard an audible voice but yet im not a strong christian, but i once had this feeling when i got saved at camp the last night i knew it was god telling me to break up with my boyfriend whose not a christian, he told me this relationship him and i had was wrong....and i felt it last night too...i had this crush on a guy for about 3 months and it hurt me so much to be around him and know i could never have him and i just heard a voice that said to "let go" and i did and i felt really at peace after my tears...
God told me the same thing. My boyfriend wasn't a christian and God told me really clearly that i needed to end the relationship with him.

When my mind is not cluttered up with me, myself and I I find it easier and hear more clearly what God is sometimes asking me to do. Sometimes it is to witness, other times it is to give money, time, encouragement. The wonderful thing is that as I bless others with the resources that God has given me I find that I am blessed even more.
Yes, I have heard Him tell me to do things, I wish I could say that I have always obeyed but...

Yes I have!
Ten years ago my Lord told me to prepare for the Ministry, and I did by attending a Bachelor of Theology course at the School of Theology (Charles Sturt University Australia) converting to a Grad.Dip.Th. because I already had some academic qualifications. Then in a retreat five years ago the Lord told me "Feed my sheep". I have been a lay Chaplain for ten years now, praise God.

God led me to leave my job at a collection agency because some dishonest stuff was going on there. He also led me to break up with my boyfriend of 7 months because we weren't right for each other and I was letting him take God's place.

While it was not an audible voice like Charleton Heston heard in the Ten Commandments, I must say that God most certainly commanded me to do something. Eventually, I'll post a blog about this.
