Today was baptism day!:amen: It feels like I've been waiting forever, but patience has always been a weak point of mine :).
Today was also my first time partaking in the Eucharist...someone really should have prepared me for the taste of the bread..whoa :P.
It was a lovely day, one I'll never forget, and the parish members made us feel even more welcome after the service. One of the brothers gave us a miraculous medal that he recieved from Mother Teresa while working with her in India. It was really touching because my son had just learned about Mother Teresa in his morning study with one of the other parish members, and I had just heard the term miraculous medal myself a few days ago in a thread here at CF. I think I must have thanked him a zillion times before I shut up.

I was not aware that you were not baptized!! I am so excited for you!!!! I share your joy in this first partaking of our Lord's Body and Blood! Welcome home to the Church, and I pray that God will use this as just a first step into a whole life of living out his will in all that you do.

Welcome to the Christian Church! :) I wish you the best in your Christian journey, you'll be in my prayers.
Grant, O Lord God, to all who have been baptized into the
death and resurrection of thy Son Jesus Christ, that, as we
have put away the old life of sin, so we may be renewed in
the spirit of our minds, and live in righteousness and true
holiness; through the same Jesus Christ our Lord, who liveth
and reigneth with thee, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one
God, now and for ever. Amen.
