"Christian Song" Identification?

There's this Christian song I know of and I'm not really sure what the song is called or who sings it. The song is mostly accompanied by a Piano Part with a steady Rythm.. The lyrics go something like this... " If I stand let me stand on the promise that you have bore me through" or something like that. It sounds like something Michael W. Smith would sing?

Hey with your help I found the Artist, it wasn't Jars of Clay it was another Christian Artist by the name of Rich Mullins .. Thanks for the help

I believe Jars of Clay covered that for a tribute album, following Mullins' death.
