What is the point of the dress? Is it worn in the morning or at a funeral?

And if it is for a funeral, Who died?

And if it is for a funeral, Who died?Aragorn died; the dress is the one that Arwen wore in the Two Towers, when Elrond was predicting what her life would be like if she chose to become mortal.

Actually Blue, you aren't wearing it anymore, are you? When I posted you were wearing a light blue, sleeveless dress.
I looked in the armory and it's black with red.
I didn't realize there were now 2 "Arwen" dresses. I love Arwen and Aragorn, so I'm a-posting.
Thanks for offering this to one of us, Blue

I think I drove my brother nuts because when we saw RotK in the theatre I'd read the books twice through and I kept saying things like, "That didn't happen." "he skipped that part." "This was supposed to happen back there."

I like Sam both in the book and in the movie. I was very suprised to see it played by Sean Astin.
GodFlute2

Why's that?
Oh Sci-fi played a version of Hercules awhile ago and Sean Astin played Hercules' loyal follower. There were so many places where yo watched the movie and couldn't help but see Sam. The two parts were almost identicle.
