If so the best thing you can do is read the bible ( the gospel of John) and spend some time in prayer ( You dont have to know a bunch of big words to talk to god) Just pray and reveal yourself to Him. Also spend sometime in worship( Let Jesus know how much you love Him) with music or without . Surround yourself with good christian people . And go to a bible teaching Church. The more you do these things the more you'll see a differance in your life. I pray to all the new christians that your lives be blessed and changed . That you would become true followers of Jesus Christ. May God be with you.

That is awesome advice. Just keep praying & daily read your bible. He'll take care of the rest if you just trust Jesus.

amen to these above posts. jsut have complete faith and trust in the lord, dont rush into anything, let yourself grow with the lord, and be strong in him!! dont be afraid to tell anyone that your a christian, and check out your local church or youth group to be surrounded by christians that can show you and help guide you on your way with god. always stay strong. god bless all the people who have just found god, i wish ALL a strong, happy,long life with him!!

Thank you. I was told to start in Matthew, but am almost finished and will start John next. I've been saved for a long time, but have been away from God, and recently re-dedicated my life to him. Your words are encouraging.

matthew is an amazing book, a great idea to start on. isaiah, personally is my absolute favourite book....ive only been saved for around 6months maybe a big more or less, but have read genesis,exodus,numbers,leviticus,deuteronomy,isaiah,matthew....i recomend isaiah....it is so inspiring....it is very long though....it goes up to 63 chap. i beleive. but i have nearly one thing per page highlighted cause its so inspiring!!
eg:
isaiah 25:8-for he will swallow up death forever, and the lord god will wipe away tears from all faces;the rebuke of his people he will take away from all the earth, for the lord has spoken.
