My favorite Bible verse changes frequently, but right now it's 1 Thessalonians 2:8 "With such affection for you, we were determined to share with you not only the gospel of God, but our very selves as well, so dearly beloved had you become to us." It reminds me that I must evangelize in love, and I will be more effective when I let people know I do care about them.

Ooops!!!
Thanks for the verse sending nightgown immediately if not sooner.

Unless this thread starts getting mobbed, it may take too long before I leave.

Since the subject arose, I have decided to give this thread another week, then I am going to some really nice threads and scatter all my other stuff to other members without a clue who sent them.

"God is our judge, and he can save or destroy us. What right do you have to condemn anyone? "

33It is also true that we must love God with all our heart, mind, and strength, and that we must love others as much as we love ourselves. These commandments are more important than all the sacrifices and offerings that we could possibly make."

LovesToRead

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

Romans 8:38-39

Latreia, My friend - Would you please continue your generousity by blessing a newbie or someone else of your choice with something. I have so much now and would prefer you help someone starting out, as you did with me when I was first here.

You will be missed so much. Thank you for your sharing with so many of us.

God Bless you and you dear husband.

You guys are just too much. I'm gonna get..... and start giving out autographs or somethin'.....;)

LovesToRead, I am still looking around an blindsiding a few lost and lorn Newbies here and there. Had to get rid of thousands of blessings. So funny to get a pm from a 15 year old boy completely dazed or read in thanks from a 12 year old girl that "You ROCK!" ^_^

It is really sweet to know that you, Mindalan, and other generous ladies will still be here, making Newbies and others happy with freebies and bargains. And, most of all, with the real blessings of plain old caring and sharing. :groupray:

Please don't :sigh: or  you know I will be leaving some of myself here with you all. The most important thing is to remember that others really need a word or a gift or blessings to make their way a little brighter.

Knowing the best ones here on CF has certainly make my days worthwhile on these boards. :sorry:

While there were times that I.... ....and that I...... ......and that I  ,
but also, I did.... and I did....

So maybe I became a little more.....:holy: and, yes, more.... boring.

I did get lots of :help: and some  and maybe a  or two.

I will always be  for you guys. You will always have my...

Yes Lateria you'll be missed around here!!! :sigh:

Here is another verse that I really like:

2 Corinthians 12:9
"My grace is enough; it's all you need. My strength comes into its own in your weakness. Once I heard that, I was glad to let it happen. I quit focusing on the handicap and began appreciating the gift. It was a case of Christ's strength moving in on my weakness."

as well as:
Philippians 3:13-14
(13) "Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, (14) I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. "

I'll let you pick the gift

Had hoped for more verses, and knowing better who would like an item best. Due to various factors, I must close this thread on end of the day on November 1.

Remember, every ending of one thing is the beginning of another.

Ecclesiastes 3: 1 There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under heaven:

2 a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,

3 a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,

4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,

5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain,

6 a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,

7 a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,

8 a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
