Hello, all,

My upbringing was one of inconsistent religious influence, and after living a largely secular life for my late teens and twenties, I'm striving to return to the fold. My short-term goal is to read more about faith in general, to learn more about my own faith in specific.

During lunch today, I stopped at the library and stumbled across a book called "Amazing Grace: A Vocabulary of Faith" by Kathleen Norris. I've only just started it, but so far, it speaks to me in a way that seems meaningful to me.

Have any of you read this book yet? I'd be curious to hear your thoughts. I'd also be interested in hearing suggestions for other good books to read.

God bless!

I've read this one. Liked it a lot. Lent it to a pastor I know and have not gotten it back yet! We have some goats, so some of what he said applies there also.

I remember taking that book (Amazing Grace) out of the library several years ago, but I never finished it. I can't really remember it too well either.

I would recommend anything by Max Lucado. My most favorite book by him is In the Grip of Grace. Awesome, awesome book and I know you would like it!
