What do you think?

Recently I'm starting to work on a blueprint for myself for my own information, as I too am curious as to where things might lead.

I would like to see what you come up with actually. It just seems the world is crazy right now. The predominant thought I had last Tuesday was that if this much pandemonium breaks out after this tragedy, what will it be like after we all disappear?

The last few days all that keeps going throught my mind is the phrase " wars and rumors of wars" which if I am not mistaken is from a passage in Revelation which describes the end times.

I'd like to think the state of affairs in the world can't get much worse, but there is ALWAYS a "worse".

I guess the biggest thing to remember is that ya never know so ya better be ready, dontcha think?

Just prior to the Rapture I suppose, the way things are going in the Middle East.

yeh i keeep thinking about the wars and rumors of wars thing. I found it after i was thinking that its quite scary the thought of America going to war with Iraq and that our country would most likely go with them then i found that verse and it said dont be afraid.

Though I dont think i have any idea when it will be as it is supposed to be when we least expect it.

With what's going on in the middle east, in communications, in the global economy, in worldwide persecution of Christians and Jews, in worldside terrorism, in rampant tolerance of immorality and the preaching of tolerance for everything except God's word, and the growing hatred of God, I think we're pretty close.

--------------Most important to me is Matt. 24:14----------------
When we follow that up with Matt. 10:23 we see that there is [THIS] last day knowledge that is not given by God for the worlds intertainment, but for the QUICK finish of the Gospel going to the world & then Christ says.. "that the end will come".
All it takes, if one can follow this reasoning, (?) is for a Christian setting, that of persecuting professed Christians, persecuting another group of Christians worldwide! One with the SAME GOSPEL, except one is seen in Rev. 3:9's satanic delusion! (again, Matt. 10:23)

Imposible you think???

It would be more interesting & 'testimonial' for the real Truth going to the world than all else! IN A MATTER OF DAYS! Think of world wide T.V. watching NBA, NFL, WARS & you name it!? (think of how many people watched the Gulf war or the Sept. 11 scene)

Now: It seems that most think that they are going somewhere soon? (rapture)
And that they will not [play a part] in the closing scenes of this world's history? (NOT SO MY FRIENDS! You might just as well get used to the fact that you would have long been gone by now, if that 'had' been Truth)

Anyway, lets say that you are here. Now, ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE, one of Gods judgements after another! (aids, war, terrorists, snippers, abortion, raped babies & on & on as you SEE HAPPENING RIGHT NOW, TODAY!
And allmost all Christians say...DO SOMETHING NOW!!

What would we want to do to stop this slaughter? FORCED RELIGION??? You watch & see what is in God's forcast?
This is ALL IT WILL TAKE TO 'FINISH' THE MASTER'S WORK!

Then add the fact that they BOTH claim faith in Christ?? The ONLY difference is, is that only one uses Caesars force for persecution & death! (try Rev. 14:14-15)

Soon ALL would know the TRUTH! Sounds like 666 perhaps?---P/N/B/

Well, I'll just be the odd man out. 99% of the people who have ever believed they would live to see the End Times are already dead. I am not going to spend any time worrying about it; I'll go about my life normally, and if there's an End Times, well, God will see me through, and if there isn't one any time soon, I haven't wasted my time. :)

I frankly think the material in question is so amazingly subject to questions of interpretation that I don't see how we could reasonably draw specific conclusions from it. I mean, the last time in the Bible people were "taken away" was the Flood, and it wasn't Noah that was "taken away", it was everyone else. So... I can't even say I'm convinced that there will be a point at which all the Christians are taken away and everyone else is left; I think that's just one of several perfectly reasonable interpretations.

I won't be surprised at all if we have a few million years left.

Hi Serbs:
Do you believe all of the Bible? If so, which would you believe when you found out you had been mistaken? 2 Tim. 3:16 Just wondering if I should print proof for what the last 666 test for the World's professed Christians will be, as well as ALL OTHERS, or not? You see, if one has the FAITH to NOT BELIEVE GOD'S WORD, then what is the object?----P/N/B/

Well, I believe we're in the end times. I also believe, that as Children of God, we don't need to fear. Read Psalms 91 to see what God says about protection of His Own. :)

As to where we are. . .I don't know, but we're closer than we were.

JESUS IS COMING SOON! We need to have our house (body, soul, and spirit) in order.

Well, we're waiting for the fulfilment of the feast of trumpets by Jesus ie the rapture. I believe it to be very soon, prob in my lifetime. so i dont plan on dying physically. the prophecy of the Jews coming back to Jerusalem is still being fulfilled, just as the prophecy that Jerusalem will be a cup of trembling in the end times (just watch CNN). Also we've entered the 3rd day after 2001, or 7th day if you count from Adam. Jesus raised Lazarus on the third day, and was transformed on the mount on the seventh day.

basically, very close to the rapture. :)

I don't know...and it's impossible and pointless for anyone to try and estimate when Jesus is coming back.

I'm just waiting for the day...

Good answer.
