I know, I would definitely go see it, too. Oh my gosh, something so special as that rarely comes around....

It was at Holy Trinity (the church I attend) early this year. Quite the experience. We had sooo many people attend (did you know there are icon 'groupies' who actually follow it around!!!), it was just about as full at church as it is at Pasha. Father Athanasy is also very nice so if you ever get a chance, go see it. I'm suspecting he'll travel with it for a while still.

I apologize - I misread the about this icon being at my church (Holy Cross Antiochian Orthodox in Linthicum, MD). When I asked Father Gregory about this he told they went elsewhere to see the icon (I believe he said Chicago). Sorry for the goof up!

I know that a fair share of Holy Cross'ers came to Holy Trinity in Baltimore when it was there. But it'll be traveling a fair share I would think... maybe it will come back to this near vicinity again... who knows.
