I don't know if I'm technically allowed to post a prayer request here (as I'm RC), but I'm going to do it anyway. Please pray for the repose of my aunt's soul. Her name was Lissa. She died just earlier today. Thank you.

May God have mercy on her soul, if it be according to His will....

Note to Orthodox....That is the proper way to pray for a reposed non-Orthodox, "May his/her memory be eternal" is not really appropriate. Not trying to be a stickler here, just giving you a heads up.

Have mercy on us, O God, according to Your great mercy; listen, and have mercy.

We pray for the repose of the soul of the servant of God Lissa, departed this life; and for the forgiveness of her every transgression, voluntary‑and involuntary.

Let the Lord establish her soul where the Just repose; the mercies of God, the Kingdom of the Heavens, and the remission of her sins; let us ask of Christ our immortal King and our God.

Let us pray to the Lord. Lord have mercy.

For You are the Resurrection, the Life, and the Repose of Your servant Lissa, O Christ our God; and to You do we send up glory, with Your Eternal Father, and Your All‑Holy, Good and Life‑creating Spirit, both now and ever, and to the ages of ages.

Lord have mercy.
