The end is actually the beginning; The end will take place in each and every man after God has desolater everyones abominations or idols in <b"That Day"[/b]. This day is called "The Visitation",and it comes suddenly, like a thief in the night, at your "Appointed Hour" which only the Father Knows not even the son. Babylon is destroyed in One Hour but it really only takes God "The Wink Of An Eye" to desolate us; It Will Be Like Re_Booting a computer.

(((Edit Comment: Except when the Universe Restarts it won't go Bing...like it does on Windows, at least I think))))

You Will Die and this death will be experienced while alive; you will be given a New Thing, a new inner being that will be raised by God Himself. The whole thing will take about 7-10 years to Establish in your mind; an instant in your spirit. After you get the new spirit and the renewed mind you will walk by the Spirit and not the flesh any longer.

How do I know all these things?? They happened to me 8 years ago and I'm finally getting around to getting back Everything The Locusts Have Eaten.

Edit Note: Due to the UPPERCASE letters which is hard on ones eyes I made them lowercase and made the words bold. I did not change the context of the message except that one comment which was put there only for comic relief and if Thummin would like to remove it he can. Remember if you ever need me I'm at Madtaz214@aol.com End Edit Note

not everyone comes in at the same time; the first will be last so Im last, figures, and the last will be first. what we don't know is when OUR HOUR cast by LOTS at the CROSS for his covering expires. LOTS were cast for the sons homecoming as you know by both OT and NT. If you don't care about God at all I assume it will be the end. I have always known this life would be the END FOR ME ONE WAY OR ANOTHER SINCE I WAS VERY YOUNG. I am a witness to those coming after me:)

Jesus said that no man knows the date nor the hour. Did you know that in Jesus day, this was a common saying between Jewish people. They would say that I will be coming to your house on the day nor the hour that no man knows. Jewish people understood it like this... I will be coming to your house sometime during the Feast of Trumpets. Just like if I would say... I'll see you at your house when chestnuts are roasting on an open fire. You would know that I mean Christmas.

Just a bit of trivia!

Blessings.

1948 (creation of the nation of Israel) + 70 years = 2018. Look to Daniel. We are going to see some wild stuff between now and 2018. Prophecy is taking place all around us. Locust plagues in Texas, China, Australia, and Russia - Now. Pestilence, Aids in the U.S. and Africa - Now. 1/3 of vegetation and grasses burned up..in the U.S. right Now..

Gore will probably become president. Clinton will probably become Secretary General of the United Nations. If not, it doesn't matter. Bush will push his dad's New World Order agenda with someone like Gorbechev as UN secretary general.

bondjimbond says:

"1948 (creation of the nation of Israel) + 70 years = 2018. Look to Daniel. We are going to see some wild stuff between now and 2018."

Where do you get the figure of 70 years to tack on to 1948?

(KJV) Daniel 9:24
Seventy weeks are determined upon the people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to annoint the most Holy.

Israel was formed in 1948. It has been kind of in a probation period where it needs to end its sins, transgressions and get right with the Lord. Israel has 70 years or one modern generation to do it.

They will probably give back land to their enemies in a peace treaty. Land that God gave Israel. This will make him very angry.

That passage says "seventy weeks," not "seventy years." A week in this context refers to a period of seven years (as there are seven days in a week). In other words, you have 490 years, not 70.

I reserve the right to be wrong. I am not a prophet. There are some people that say it is actually 1967 (capture of jerusalem) + 1 generation (40 years) = 2007 and they place the start of the end this year! BJB

The original disciples thought the world would end during their lifetimes, and so has every generation since. It may very well be another 2000 years.

You can always interpret the 'end times prophecies' to point to current events, and you will always be able to. They are more of a commentary on the human condition of sin (wars and rumors of wars, etc...) than they are a tool for predicting 'the end.'

I don't expect the 'tribulation' to begin in my lifetime, but If I'm wrong, I stand redeemed and renewed in Christ (as I would be regardless).

The prophecies exist to give us hope... to show us that God has a plan, not to make us spend fruitless hours trying to determine 'when.'

Just my thoughts. :)

Only God knows when the end will be. We all look at the signs of the times, but we don't know God's time table on just when these things are going to take place. Until then just follow Titus 2:13 while we wait for the blessed hope--the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ,

Although Jesus said that no one knows the date and the hour, and that we shouldn't speculate upon same, He did give us signs to look for. Even though we won't know the exact hour or day, we will know when the time is approaching. We have many abilities today that no other generation, since the dawn of creation, has had. One of the obvious is the ability of people to "move to and fro". There are many ordinarly, every-day people who constantly travel, mostly for business purposes. But there are also those who are retired and spend their retirement travelling. How many of us travel across the country each holiday to visit family and friends... When we consider our nuclear weapons, telecommunications, and satellites...all of these capabilities that we now possess, and that are being expanded upon due to further technological advances, is enough to make our heads spin.

We live in a very fast-paced society. I believe that either the end is near - or something's going to happen to slow us down. Either way, I'm sure we're in for some perilous times ahead of us.

May God Bless!

Lonewolf,

I'm interested in finding out about the Maitreya. I went to the site that you linked but didn't find out anything as to who he is, where he's from, etc. I have seen links and posts referring to him but have never heard of him before. I did a search and came up with this and more like it but it seems to be real ambiguious with no details about the person on that web site that you posted. The article said:

He has been expected for generations by all of the major religions. Christians know him as the Christ, and expect his imminent return. Jews await him as the Messiah; Hindus look for the coming of Krishna; Buddhists expect him as Maitreya Buddha; and Muslims anticipate the Imam Mahdi or Messiah

it also goes on to say:

Although the names are different, many believe that they all refer to the same individual: the World Teacher, whose personal name is Maitreya (pronounced my-tray-ah). Preferring to be known simply as the Teacher, Maitreya has not come as a religious leader, or to found a new religion, but as a teacher and guide for people of every religion and those of no religion. At this time of great political, economic and social crisis Maitreya will inspire humanity to see itself as one family, and create a civilization based on sharing, economic and social justice, and global cooperation. He will launch a call to action to save the millions of people who starve to death every year in a world of plenty. Among Maitreya's recommendations will be a shift in social priorities so that adequate food, housing, clothing, education, and medical care become universal rights. Under Maitreya's inspiration, humanity itself will make the required changes and create a saner and more just world for all.

Another article I read goes on about how he won't be around for another so many thousands of years from now, that he has not been "reborn" yet. I guess that means reincarnated.
From what I can gather from this information, he sure sounds like the anti-Christ to me. I especially find issue with comparing him to Christ and the Messiah. Anyway, I guess I just want to know if this Maitreya is around today, if the pictures on that site are of a real person. Sorry this is such a long post, just trying to figure out what all the talk about this person is about.

I'm with you, Grace, it is scary. While it would be glorious to think I could soon be with the Lord it scares to me to think I might know non Christians who would be here when He comes again. It's somewhat easier to think their physical bodies will already be dust at that point.

Share International (http://www.shareintl.org/) would seem to be Maitreya's Website. This is one of my favorite quotes from that website  : Maitreya, who embodies the energy we call the Christ Principle, has held that office for over two millennia. In Palestine he manifested himself as the Christ to inaugurate the Age of Pisces, then beginning. The method he used is called spiritual overshadowing, that is, his consciousness informed and guided the actions and teachings of his disciple Jesus. It was, therefore, the consciousness of the Christ, Maitreya, which was seen and experienced by those around Jesus.Yeah, right.

Hey, DS777, I thought the RCC believed Revelation was strictly symbolic? What's up with that? ;)

AH HA! Just when u thunk u had us figured out...BAM!
This subject is something that brings much debate amongst Catholics(and Protestants). I believe in The Book Of Rev as prophecy for the endtimes(not about Nero & past empires etc)Anyone who studies this book(along w/Daniel & Isaiah)should see tht all the prophecies foretold havent come to pass yet(and the majority couldnt until ISRAEL had become a nation again w/all the Tribes returning home). Not to mention the rebirth of The Roman Empire etc. I dont know why some experts overlook these items, perhaps our man WOLS could help from the RCC standpoint?

mikitta

Yup, gotta add my voice to Carma's. Rev. Moon is a false prophet and a type of antichrist. Those who follow him are following after greivous error. Only Jesus is the Christ as completly revealed in the Bible. If you are holding to any other gospel than the one that Paul, Silas and Timothy preached in the first century, you are following a false Gospel. This holds for every one of us.

God Bless,
mik

Carma and mikitta, you are absolutely correct. There is one Messiah, there is one Christ. He came and never left, He is still with us. He will be with us for eternity. Any other teaching is a false gospel and not of God.

There is only one Messiah/Savior of mankind. He is CLEARLY revealed in OT and NT. Jesus is the one and only. He is the one who drank the wine at the last supper. He drank the wine and gave a speech almost identical to what a Jewish bridegroom would have given to his beloved. We are betrothed, the bride of CHRIST. And, he is coming back for His bride. Do I hear an Amen out there!

Good morning,

I don't think I can really say how many years with any degree of certainty until two things occur: the falling away and the Abomination of Desolation. Then we can say with much certainty, and even count the days.

When we see Jerusalem surrounded by armies; when we see a man sit in the Holy Place of the yet to be built Temple in Jerusalen, and proclaim himself as god; then we can start a countdown.

2Th 2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

2Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for [that day shall not come], except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

2Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Till then, the best I can say is: we are nearing the season.

Blessings.

I think the reason that we can find similarities between the prophecies of old and the activities of today is b/c I think that Satan is preparing for the Armageddon, Final War, Big Battle (whatever you want to call it) b/c he doesn't know when it's going to happen, so he prepares accordingly. When Jesus doesn't come down with a shout, Satan throws a fit, curses, calms down, waits a couple of years, and starts making wars and crap like that to prepare for when it does happen. That's just my $.02.

Isn't this borderline date setting?

The Bride doesn't spend all her waiting time, wondering by what method the Groom will come to her. She thinks about Him, Whom she loves, anticipating with excitement the Day of His arrival, not because there's a war in the Middle East that "surely" indicates His coming is near, but because HE will be arriving.

The great falling away has already occurred!

"I don't think I can really say how many years with any degree of certainty until two things occur: the falling away and the Abomination of Desolation. Then we can say with much certainty, and even count the days. "

"Let no one deceive or beguile you in any way, for that day will not come except the apostasy comes first [unless the predicted great falling away of those who have professed to be Christians has come], and the man of lawlessness (sin) is revealed, who is the son of doom (of perdition)."
II Thess. 2:3

So, we are waiting for the antichrist to be revealed. Now according to some that visited Israel in 1992 a rabbi told them that the messiah had already returned and they just weren't ready to reveal him.

Since then, they have started building harps, raiment for service in the temple, etc. It is verryyy close.

I read somewhere that the moon had already turned blood red once, in one of these many forums I visit. Doesn't matter.

The day the Lord arrives is unknown to any but the Father, so it would be heretical to try to guess. That's the stumbling block of many of today's cults. Thinking they can guess despite the bible.
