Hi I'm FROG, I've noticed that you have a lot of mid-evil gowns, but no 1700 or 1800 dress'. Just an Idea, I have worn a 1800 hundred style dress with a hoop skirt, they are a lot of fun, and I would love for my character to wear somthing like that. Even a Gypsy's outfit. I'm sorry, But I have no clue how to make them on computers. Only on sewing machines, and I can barley do that! Lol! Thanks!

A Day Dress- 1865

http://www.shootingstarhistory.com/65day1.jpg
This Dress is based on a photo I have in my collection- I date it to 1865 because of the tax stamp on the reverse of the photo. It is a two piece dress with a straight cut pleated skirt, vest point bodice, velvet ribbon trim, and a white peterpan collar. It closes center front with hooks and eyes but has a row of decorative mother of pearl buttons on the top. The sleeves are set off by a decorative "jockey" and cuff.

http://www.costumes.org/history/18thcent/general/mcclellan/colorplate164-165.jpgThis is A womans style dress from 1714 to 1727, I think it would look a bit nicer in , peach and cream, instead of burnt orange and cream.

Prices,
500 for the Civil war dress and 300 for the 1700's dress,
If someone were to order the civil war dress above, in our money (not blessings) it would cost them anywhere from 400 to 700 dollers, so I just kinda guested a price for the one above.
I have not looked into buying a 1700 style dress, and do not know for sure what their price range is. I sure hope this helps some!!!
